Their safety team removed 41,191 videos focused on the War on Ukraine, 87% of which violated policies against harmful misinformation. The vast majority (78%) were identified proactively. Read more >

US Federal Communications Commission has asked Apple and Google to remove TikTok from their app stores

Commissioner Carr alleges that TikTok collects vast troves of sensitive data” about US users of the app, and then shares it with China’s government. Read more >


Twitter launches Branded Likes’ in the UK

Branded Likes will appear on any organic or promoted Tweets that contain the advertiser-selected hashtags after an individual has liked that Tweet. Read more >
